This Privacy Policy explains how AlphaIntelli Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use the Magic Ratio mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Email address and display name, provided when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email.

Relationship moment data: The notes, tags, and metadata you log in the App (moment content, type, timestamps, relationship identifiers).

Usage data (optional): Anonymous, aggregated data about how you interact with features of the App. Only collected if you consent during onboarding. You can change this in Privacy Settings at any time.

Device information: Basic device and OS information included automatically with API requests, used solely for debugging and security.

Notification preferences: Whether you have enabled local reminder notifications (stored on your device; we do not receive this information).

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account.
To store and display your relationship moments across sessions and devices.
To compute your daily and weekly ratio scores.
To send you transactional messages (e.g., magic link sign-in emails).
To provide anonymous analytics for improving the App (only if you opted in).
To detect fraud, protect security, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK Users)

Contract: Processing necessary to provide the App services you requested.
Consent: Anonymous analytics (you can withdraw at any time).
Legitimate interests: Security, fraud prevention, and improving the App.
Legal obligation: Retaining records required by applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following sub-processors to operate the App:

We do not use advertising SDKs (e.g., Meta, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel). We do not sell or share your personal information with data brokers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account:

Your moments and profile are deleted within 30 days.
Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (if you consented) may be retained indefinitely.
We may retain certain records for up to 7 years where required by law (e.g., financial records).

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data — use the in-app "Delete Account" feature or email contact@alphaintelli.com.
Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
Correction: Update inaccurate data via your profile settings.
Objection / Restriction: Object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
Withdraw consent: Withdraw analytics consent at any time in Privacy Settings.

To exercise these rights, email contact@alphaintelli.com. We will respond within 30 days (EU: within 1 month).

California (CCPA/CPRA): You may request access to, deletion of, or opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not sell or share your data. To submit a request, email contact@alphaintelli.com.

EU/UK (GDPR): If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and row-level security policies in our database. No system is perfectly secure; you use the App at your own risk.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own (e.g., the United States). When we transfer data from the EU/UK, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

11. Consent Management

On first launch, we ask for your consent to these Terms and to optional analytics. You may:

Accept or decline analytics during onboarding.
Change your analytics preference at any time in the Account → Privacy Settings screen.

Declining analytics does not affect your ability to use the App.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified in-App or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
